Half the proceeds from this book are donated to Chicago Public Schools.  

Why? 

• 86% of CPS students are economically disadvantaged

• 35% of male CPS students will never graduate high school

• 75% of CPS schools don't have a librarian

• 20% of CPS elementary students are in overcrowded classrooms

• CPS borrows money at an estimated ten times higher interest rate than normal school districts

So yeah, they need it.
